Preikestolen

The drive from Stavanger takes around 45 minutes.

Once you've reached the start of the hike, you're off to tackle this imposing rectangular rock, towering over 600m above the fjord! From the very top, you'll have a breathtaking view of the Lysefjord winding below.

After a 2-3 hour hike, you'll be rewarded with an incomparable view. You can take a well-deserved rest at the summit to picnic and take photos of the imposing rock.

Then it's back down the trail. Return to Stavanger along the same route.
