About us

Pure Norway is an incoming tour operator, specialized on the leisure market. Our clients are tour operators and other tourism professionals, and we organize group and FIT tours for tour series and tailor-made programs. Following closely the tourism industry and understanding the specific needs of our partners markets, we can insure to exceed the expectations of our clients.

Our Themes

We have defined nine themes that correspond to different types of travel in Norway and Scandinavia. On our website, we briefly present these nine themes in the hope that they will inspire you and encourage you to contact us to learn more about the destination.

We offer different types of accommodation (hotels, farm stays, B&Bs, fishing cabins), a wide range of activities (sports, cultural, culinary), and transport options (bus, car, train, and boat). Our programmes are flexible and can easily be adapted to your preferences and budget.

Our technological tools

In 2022, Pure Norway developed an in-house software solution to optimise our productivity and the quality of our work. In collaboration with a software development agency in Gjøvik, we now have a unique, tailor-made system designed specifically to meet the needs of a destination management company. This software greatly simplifies our internal organisation and allows us to provide our clients with professional, comprehensive travel itineraries that are accessible online on mobile phones, tablets, and computers.

Meet Our Team

  • Born into a family of travelers, Sébastien grew up in New Caledonia, Australia, and the South of France. Based in Norway since 2001, this curious and passionate traveler explores the country in search of new experiences to design and organize your trips throughout Scandinavia.

  • A native of Bretagne, Bruno developed an interest in Northern Europe at a very early age. Although he lives in France, he began working in the Norwegian tourism industry as soon as he finished his studies and returns there regularly to guide our French-speaking groups on tours of the fjords.

  • The only native Norwegian on the team, Lars divided his time between Gjøvik and Oslo before settling back in Gjøvik to raise his family. A passionate skier, traveler, and cultural explorer, he is our head of administration and back office.

  • After living in France, the US, Singapore and Canada, it is in Norway that Esther decided to settle.

Open to new discoveries, she is exploring the country and learning the local culture in order to share it with others.

  • Driven by his passion for cross country skiing, Jean-François left the Vosges to move to Norway. Certified guide, he enjoys showing Gjøvik through different activities, but always outdoors !

Jean-François is also our sustainability expert.

  • Originally from Burgundy, Julie spent six months traveling across Norway from north to south, experiencing everything from the Northern Lights to the midnight sun. Having fallen in love with this magnificent country, she can’t wait to share her favorite hidden gems and spectacular landscapes with you.

  • Originally from Lyon, Leslie has lived among the fjords of Volda and the wide-open spaces of America. A writer and avid artist based in Montpellier, she loves Norway and returns there several times a year. Curious and attentive, she now draws on her experience to create customized itineraries for you.

  • Originally from the south of France, Iris traded her flip-flops for mittens when she moved to Tromsø in 2017. A former dog-sled and snowmobile guide with a passion for the Arctic wilderness, she is committed to providing you with authentic experiences in Norway’s vast wilderness.

  • Originally from the Paris region and now a resident of Normandy, Mélaine lived in Norway for 8 months. Passionate about foreign languages and cultures, she has traveled throughout the country so she can now help you plan your trip and create memories that will last a lifetime.

  • After backpacking around the world and working in travel planning for a French agency, Lola settled in Norway for two years. She loves seeking out unique, off-the-beaten-path experiences to share with our travelers.
